BLACKPINK’s Jennie and G-Dragon reignite dating rumors after nearly a year

The romantic entanglements of K-pop stars Jennie from BLACKPINK and G-Dragon of BIGBANG have once again ignited fervent speculation across Asian social media.

Reports swirling since the morning of July 16 suggest that the pair may have quietly rekindled their relationship, allegedly dating in secret since August 2023

Known for their respective prominence in the K-pop industry, Jennie and G-Dragon have fueled gossip mills with sightings of them sporting matching items, ranging from rings to scarves, adding fuel to the fire of their rumored romance.

This potential reunion follows their initial publicized relationship, which made headlines back in 2021 when Dispatch, a Korean media outlet renowned for its celebrity gossip, revealed their dating status
However, their previous romance lasted just over a year before reportedly fizzling out. Recent sightings of the duo in similar attire have piqued the curiosity of fans and netizens alike. Notably, both stars have been photographed wearing matching rings on multiple occasions over the past year, with the most recent instance being at separate public events a promotion for – Billie Eilish’s new album attended by Jennie and a technology talk show hosted by KAIST, where G-Dragon was a guest speaker

Speculation intensified further when Jennie was observed wearing a scarf in a YouTube vlog earlier this year, strikingly similar to one previously worn by G-Dragon at a celebrity gathering. Such details have fueled discussions across online communities, with many dissecting each gesture and accessory for clues about the pair’s relationship status.

G-Dragon’s online activity has also been under scrutiny, as he has been actively liking several of Jennie’s photos and videos on social media
