BTS Jimin, the best-selling K-pop star in the US for two consecutive years… ‘K-pop leader’

BTS’ Jimin has demonstrated his musical power as a ‘K-pop leader’ by continuously setting major records in the US.

Jimin’s 2nd solo album ‘MUSE’, the title track ‘Who’ became the best-selling K-pop song in the US in 2024 within 14 weeks of its release.

As a result, Jimin has held the title of the best-selling K-pop song in the US for two consecutive years with ‘Like Crazy’ in 2023 and ‘Who’ in 2024, thereby highlighting his presence as a representative leader of K-pop.

Previously, Jimin’s title track “Like Crazy” became the best-selling K-pop song in the US in 2023, becoming the first and only Korean solo singer to enter the Best-Selling Song category at the Billboard Music Awards that year.

In the US, Jimin’s musical power is unmatched not only in terms of sales but also in streaming. According to the Spotify chart released on the 4th, ‘Who’ has achieved a cumulative streaming volume of 172,740,281 on the US Spotify Daily Top Songs Chart within 108 days of its release.
