Fans Demand Protection for Stray Kids’ member Hyunjin due to Cyber-attacks

November of last year, it was revealed that a group chat over 1,000 people were exposed to have bought Hyunjin’s bubble and sent mass coordinated against the member in a thread

It was later revealed to be Felix’s, another Stray Kids member, solo stan akgaes. Akgae are fans who only like one member of a group and hates the other members. 

If you didn’t know, Bubble offers an online chat service where fans can pay to communicate with idols in a one-on-one chat room. Bubble also was one of Hyunjin’s safe spaces but the viscious cyber-attacks got so bad that he stopped going on the app and on social media in general. 

The hate spread from Bubble to Chinese platforms to Twitter to Instagram with fans having to flood the comment sections of each of his posts with love in order to drown out the hate on Instagram. 

On Twitter, antis mass-flooded searches with vulger and horrible things about Hyunjin so when you search up his name, that’s what’d you see. After multiple attacks on Hyunjin, even affecting his mental health, fans demand JYP to protect Hyunjin.
