The answer, of course, will be talent. I don’t think anyone would want to listen to or watch someone with talentless voice like a crow. Also, bts are already way above their level both visually, in terms of talent and vocals. They are also very productive and hardworking. I’m so happy to be following bts once again 💜

Let’s not lie, it’s always about visual. Talent? Personalities? If talent comes 1st, then lots of unpopular, underrated groups, will be top tier groups and at least have 1 win for every cb.

It would have to be personality – I’ll be a casual listener if you have good skills but there is no way I can openly support a group who are known to have bad personalities without feeling embarrassed
People lying if they think visuals aren’t important. Look at V, he’s just a sub vocalist and has the least positions in the group but still is the most popular. Look at the insta follower difference between him and others.
V and Rm has more than 15million difference in followers. And you have to be lying if you think people follow him on insta for his talent 😑

Visuals are important. Bts choreographer literally said he asked tae to join because of his good looks and V got in without even trying to audition instead of his friend who worked hard and Jin was street casted for his looks. And guess what V is easily the most popular idol and jin is most popular in hyungline. So obviously looks are given most importantance than talent
No, if you weren’t so dumb the example to give would be blackpink. No one writes sings or raps well in that group. Not one… but somehow being “pretty” with western attitudes and no talent made them popular.
