“How are you all doing?
These days, asking how you are feels somewhat out of place, but as I go through each day, before I know it, it’s already December—winter is fully here.
In just four days, it will mark one year since I enlisted. This Christmas, I won’t be able to spend it with you, and all I can offer is a greeting through this documentary, but I hope you’ll always believe that, in spirit, I am sincerely by your side and that you can feel it. Perhaps this is just my wishful thinking.
Time passes, and many things happen in life. Recently, I’ve been talking with the other members often. It feels like we’ve become a bit closer, even though we’re not living, breathing, and spending time together as much as before. It’s strange, isn’t it? I guess that’s how life is.
Aside from this, are there any words with enough weight to convey everything? I miss you. It’s just that simple. In my own way, I’ve been seeing, reading, and writing various things, while also preparing for the year of my discharge that will eventually come. Though there’s still some time left, I want to spend the year 2025 in a more meaningful way.
Let’s stay healthy! Because if we’re sick, it’s sorrowful, and if we’re lonely, it’s even worse. I miss you. Let’s push through this long, long winter. Hahaha. Thank you, thank you, for all the love you’ve given me this past year. I love you. I will think of you often, with all my heart.
