After two months of fan voting, KGMA merged the two categories and awarded the sixth-place singer with 0.5% of the votes
In both the and categories, BTS’s J-Hope ranked 1st with 84% and 78% of the fan votes, respectively.
After voting ended and five days before the awards ceremony, the two categories were suddenly merged.
The winner announced today was the singer who received 0.508% of the fan votes and ranked 6th.
If they were going to ignore all the fan votes and give out awards, they should have just given out whatever the judges wanted from the start. Nothing to say about the level of KGMA that ignores the fans who spent their time and money on them.
