Plagiarism accusations-Lisa’s comeback has been filled with disappointments

Recently, on the Chinese social media platform Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book), a Chinese designer named Jewel Y unexpectedly posted a series of accusations against Lisa and her team, claiming they plagiarized one of her designs from 2020. Specifically, in the new MV, Lisa wears a leather star-shaped halter top representing the “Rockstar” concept in one outfit. This issue quickly gained traction on Chinese social media. The designer also shared more details in another post, stating that from 2020 to 2023, her products were produced in London and had to be sent abroad for photoshoots. A Korean (or British) stylist allegedly borrowed the star top from Jewel, stole the idea, and it started appearing widely on social media.
