The Korean Music Content Association opposes the K-Pop Awards Ceremonies being held indiscriminately

The Korean Music Content Association points out that the K-pop related award ceremony currently taking place in Korea has six major problems:

First, some award ceremonies have become a means of profiteering by exploiting K-pop fandoms, causing financial burden and unnecessary fatigue for fans around the world

Second, artists’ health is threatened due to the explosion of award ceremonies

Third, artists and management companies are under pressure to appear due to fierce competition for talent

Fourth, many award ceremonies have lost fairness and authority due to unclear selection criteria

Fifth, the image of the K-pop industry is being damaged due to the deteriorating quality of award ceremonies

Finally, the management company’s business burden can’t be ignored

1. I agree

2. For real, using your energy to do another schedule is 100 times better than receiving an award at an awards ceremony without authority

3. There’s nothing wrong with what they say

4. There are so many award ceremonies, they are just created to make money

5. Aren’t these events just meant to extort money from fans?

6. There are too many award ceremonies

7. Think about it another way, it would be weird if the America Awards were held in Korea

8. I agree, media companies should stop arbitrarily organizing award ceremonies

9. K-pop will only survive if we block awards from being awarded through paid voting and block overseas ticket sales

10. That’s a shortcut to ruining the image of K-pop
