speaking in general, kpop companies need to put more pressure for these idols to learn more about history around the world and cultural sensitivity especially if they really want to push their artists outside Asia tbh. And I’m talking about my own experience but in my country, our history subject does not cover this part of history in our school , we cover on Japanese and British because they both were the ones who heavily evaded my country back in WW2 , I learned about Nazis because I read about it on Internet. Cause our history subject does not mention about Nazis and swastika , even then our textbook only mentioned Hitler in passerby, like he’s the most hated person in the world like that. This how I got to read and learn about Germany in WW2 btw cause I searched about it in the Internet on my own. Got curious since my textbook does not really explain why he’s hated.
