Taehyung is pretty and talented that’s why he is writing and producing his album instead of relying on a team of professionals to do the work like other idols.
Ofc he is talented but from the music samples he’s shared, it all seems like the type that won’t attract many people. Like how many people actually listen to jazz compered to pop or rap?
He has a very good voice for jazz, and his English pronunciation for singing, particularly if his recent “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” cover is anything to go by, has improved leaps and bounds.
Actually, esp as this style is so different to how he usually sings in BTS’s grp music, new listeners might not realize who he is if he does come out with an English jazz track as one of his solo tracks.
And I can easily see audiences who are into Michael Buble or Frank Sinatra enjoy his sound, even without knowing who he is if he does this. I think if he comes out with smt along those kinds of vibes, a song of his would go extremely well with the western gp.
