1. VIETNAM

According to Vietnam Government, 

Blackpink’s BORN PINK World Tour in Hanoi is  meant to strengthen cultural exchanges between the people of the two countries, Vietnam & South Korea. 

“Specifically, in an exchange with Government Information about this event, the Director of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports said that the Department is very welcome when  BLACKPINK comes to Vietnam.

Director of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports said that the Department is considering the application for a performance and will license the organizer to meet the expectations of fans.

According to him, this is both a cultural event and also of people’s diplomatic significance in the context that the relationship between Vietnam and Korea is developing better and has achieved a comprehensive strategic partnership.”

2. AUSTRALIA

In 2023, Australia’s Deputy Foreign Minister said of Blackpink member Rosé: “One of the strengths I was able to draw on while working from home due to COVID-19 was the memory of dancing with my family to their songs. Rosé was born in New Zealand but went to primary school in Australia,” he said.

3. INDONESIA

Erina Gudono, daughter-in-law of the Indonesian President, attended Blackpink’s Jakarta (2023) concert. She also answered a question about Blackpink on her Instagram story. She said she was shocked at how Blackpink members remained energetic despite their extremely busy work schedule.

4. UK 

British prime minister Boris Johnson has thanked K-pop girl group Blackpink for raising awareness about the climate crisis among their fans.

Korean news outlet Yonhap reported that the quartet received a personal letter from Johnson at the British Ambassador’s residence in Seoul yesterday where they were appointed as advocates for the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26).

The letter was presented to the girl group by the British Ambassador to South Korea, Simon Smith.

5. MALAYSIA

Malaysia’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Hannah Yeoh, attended Blackpink’s concert in Malaysia. “It was truly incredible to see with my own eyes that the stadium was lit up pink with light sticks! The crowd was very orderly, there were a lot of young people,” the minister said about the concert.

6. FRANCE

French First Lady Brigitte Macron attended Blackpink’s 2022 Paris concert. The first lady invited the girls to perform at a charity fundraiser she will organize in 2023. The girls accepted this offer and performed. Blackpink also posed with French President Emmanuel Macron, first lady Brigitte Macron and tennis champion Roger Federer.

Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha praised Lisa for reflecting Thai culture in her solo in 2021 and stated that he was so proud.
