Twice is popular in the US but basically BLACKPINK is clearly more popular, if only talking about the Stadium concert Blackpink will also perform at the US Stadium, talking about the Blackpink album did have low sales in the first week but “BORNPINK” lasted 13 weeks and “THE ALBUM” was able to survive 26 weeks on the Billboard 200, then talking about the main billboad chart, namely the Hot 100 Blackpink still leads as the GG with the highest charting and the most songs on the Billboard Hot 100, the Highest Grossing Asian Female Act in the US is also held by BLACKPINK then both from Spotify US, iTunes US, Apple Music US, Youtube US, Concert Blackpink are also leading well.
Twice albums still has more longetivity. And thats probably why they are one being chosen by billboard for billboard women of the year.

Twice has a strong fandom and an excellent general Recognition among majority of kpop fans. Thats the reason they are popular and successful in the UK. They have also diversified their music in last 4 years, while BP does the same thing again n again. Even their bsides are very predictable with what kind of music and songs would be made and produced. But it’s a group who is iconic for making bangy music and having girl crush and rough image.

And it’s Jype’s fault totally. They are still underestimating twice. Twice line was literally 170k+ for their Singapore concert tickets more than that of BP’s but jype literally booked them for 8k hall. The tickets of both days were sold out in less than 30 mins and many onces still didn’t get any tickets. I mean the line is explanatory to itself. Singapore onces begged jype to book the 50k stadium for twice in Singapore but they didn’t. Not to mention Jype still isn’t letting twice perform at Taiwan. Where many onces are begging for them. And many twice members have expressed their desire for seeing them. Despite them not performing they are still #1 ggp in taiwan. Jype aren’t even letting members become ba for brands. They are excessively using twice to promote other grps under their brand when other than nmixx and some members of skz and Itzy none of them even mention twice at all.
We onces are seriously sick of how jype is treating twice. We thought things would get better after their renewal of contract but it still isn’t happening. We are seriously angry with how their div is still handling twice. Skz and Itzy went to perform at festivals like lollapalooza and all. But twice only popularity gain is from their own concert. Only this time they are going for today free concert in new york. We hope all goes well. Twice have worked really hard. Jype management is the main roadblock rn

Honestly I don’t think BP’s US fanbase is as big as people are led to believe. At one point I thought they were huge but looking at their last albums sales which was a hugely anticipated album and all their stadium shows are not sold out as yet.
