Sm idols are still considered popular. Yeah they may not be as popular as their YG jyp hybe counterparts. But they still are. NCT is more popular than YG boy grps. Aespa has surpassed many ggps in popularity. They may not be as popular as how exo and snsd were bit they still are. And rn these two grps are major breadwinners of the company.
