Kpop girlies heads are exploding all over the world

Its always been bts pop 😙✌️

Let’s pretend we’re surprised.

Lazy Banana

It is pretty hard to compare BTS to Kpop groups when they’re in a league among the biggest pop stars in the world. Just look at the Top Artists streamed on Spotify, only BTS is consistently there. When it comes to album sales, they have had the best selling album in the world according to IFPI for 2 years in a row, beating even the biggest Western acts. For Proof, they still come out on top even if the album costs $60+ and it doesn’t even have much new songs, only 5. The next group is Stray Kids in album sales this year but the price difference is a lot. So imagine if BTS lowers the price of their album, they’d probably have double the numbers.

BTS is an anomaly that it’s kinda unfair to other groups and BTS to compare them.

And nothing for midpink

But I wasn’t done..

The only global kpop legend

Thats why i always say groups under hybe are soo lucky and privileged to be in the same company as bts i mean armys are 70% of kpop stans

not just groups under hybe. the entire kpop industry is profiting bc they paved the way. too bad sk and kpoppies are too obnoxious to acknowledge that

But the groups under hybe got alot of support from armys especially newjeans

Do they have brain cells? ALL Kpop idols are pop stars. It’s literally in the name. K “pop”. All the “K” signifies is the cultural korean aspect. You would think for a fandom that likes to boast about “paving the way” for Korea they wouldn’t be so quick to try and disregard their own identity as soon as they hit it big. Isn’t this the definition of a “sell-out”? If this was a Jpop idol you wouldn’t see them coming up with this asinine argument to try and separate themselves from their own culture because apparently it’s seen as “lesser”. They would be proud to be uplifting their own nation on a global scale. This would never happen but if the Korean Music market were to ever surpass the American one how much you bet they would switch up so fast and try to claim that “Well, they were always Kpop!”

nobody said they weren’t korean. they’re korean artists and not kpop artists. kpop is an industry. there are literally kpop groups composed of members who aren’t even korean. stfu when you know nothing. BTS are bigger than kpop and your stup!d opinions will not change that 🙂

keep crying

you know exactly what this post was pointing out. you’re just creating strawman arguments to deny that bts are above kpop with the influence and success they achieve.

sure, kpop idols are popstars by definition but bts are popstars.

armys being racist, are we surprised?

man y’all should really learn what words like racism actually mean before you start throwing them around

Bts is doing btspop and we are the btspoppers 👑

aren’t they Koreans who sings pop music? what tf is wrong with assuming that they are part of k-pop??lmfaoo this is a really cringe and nonsense discussion!!! If they aren’t kpop then they didn’t paved the way for all these kpop groups who are doing well in the western market lol this is the conclusion we take from that…

the reach lmfaoo keep denying their influence bc at the end it really doesn’t matter. your so called kpop industry is nothing without bts

can’t you interpret? I’m not denying their influence, actually, what I want to say is that when you guys reject the idea of them being a kpop group yourselves erase their importance to the growth of this industry in the Western market, this is contradictory to the argument that they “paved the way” for all kpop groups that becoming successful after them
